Cup holders

One of my biggest complaints about my camaro is the cup holders and I see they haven't changed it on the ZL1.
I wanted to trade up to the ZL1 but will wait to see if they change the console on later editions.

The Corvette console is very nice and the touch screen radio is a plus also.
A modified version of This would look good in the ZL1.

I know it might sound petty but its important to me.

With regards to the cup holders, I don't think there are any practical solutions to their placement.
If you put them on the drivers side, then they are out of reach to the passenger, same with if you put them on the passengers side.
Can't put them in front of the shifter, they would be way to forward to reach them.
Can't move them down much because of the transmission tunnel.
I just use the normal cup holder and rest my arm on top of the cup (it has a lid on it) and use it as an arm rest.

These are Expensive, but I LOVE It !! I have an M6 and always hated where the cup holders are. PITA to shift. No DRILL, just slide them under the center console and put the floor mat over the bottom. I have had mine for about 6 months now with NO ISSUES !!

You are right, $50.00 is a lot for plastic cup holders. I will wait and see how much the stock ones get in the way of shifting first before I make the jump.

Looks like a good option. I'll pay a few extra bucks for convenience, but honestly, I just won't race while drinking.

My '93 Lincoln Town Car was the last model year before they started putting cup holders in everything. I ran around with Godzilla cup holders hanging from the windows on both sides... for ten years.

If you plan to keep yours as long as I did, don't get your cup holder from Taco Bell like I did. Just sayin'.

Are there any cup holders in the back of ZL1? I haven't even thought of that, since I will probably only sit back there once to see what it's like.

Did you put a cover over your existing cup holders or you just left em open?

These always work. Cheap but practical. You can get a pack at walmart for a few dollars.
