Nevermind. I found my answer above. That's what I get for looking here & watching the Superbowl at the same time.

no I don't......I have a Galaxy Note 2, but even if i did, I don't use my phone for music in the car....for everyday driving I have a 8 gig flash drive I keep about 2000 songs on, and it stays plugged in in the car at all times, then for long trips I have a ZUNE that has every album/cd I own on it.

I'm a regular over at the Cruzetalk forums. A user just posted a NON-A2DP PDIM with the firmware DB/DE. Part# 95146939.
Would one of you guys check your 2013 Camaros (not MyLink) for the PDIM version for those that have A2DP Bluetooth? Perhaps there's a new part# out there... Thanks! |

well the PDIM P/N (22797218) you have in that picture as the AFTER picture is the PDIM what will give you the DB/DD HW/SW version.

That's what I mean. He installed the DB/DD PDIM with Bluetooth, but his original was DB/DE without Bluetooth. What I'm trying to see is if there are any newer 2013 Camaros with a newer DB/DE PDIM WITH Bluetooth.

Damn it. I should have followed your advice to the letter. I picked up my car, and took it home. Plugged in my iphone, and found out I have DB/DB not DB/DD. They installed the wrong part number in my car. I called them back today, explained the wrong part number thing, and he's going to look into it for me. Hopefully he calls me back tomorrow with some good news.

Dealer says that the latest part number 22797218 is not valid for my car, which I'm sure I've read in this thread before. They installed part number 20985421.
Without me searching/reading through this entire thread again, can anyone tell me what to tell the dealer that this part IS for my car, and how to prove it? |

Do a search for "PI0055B". Print it out and ask them to explain why they can not follow it. I had to thorugh a fit with the manager to get them to fix it. unless u have the extended warranty, they may charge u.
22797218 is the one i finally got them to install, after several attempts. |

PI0055B states differently as u probably noticed.
If I understand the PI, they need to do step #7 to reprogram the module. |

Unfortunately no, as I've read in this thread.
Part # 20985421 can only go as high as DB/DB Part # 22797218 can do DB/DD |

Many thanks to Sir Nuke for his information on this subject. Just finished installing the latest PDIM p/n 22797218 and my HW ID is DB and SW ID is DD. Everything works as it should, even set up Bluetooth with my wife's cell phone and it works great. No glitches with the USB port playing music and going back to XM or CD. Don't have any Apple devices to test with but I'm sure they would work fine.
Thanks again. Ed M.
