WTB Driver's Side Mirror/Parts - BRM

I'm a little sick to my stomach as my driver's side mirror was damaged recently.

The plastic, Blue Ray Metallic cover was torn off, breaking only where the screws mount it to the mirror. The mirror is cracked and broken where it mounts to the mirror jig, so it's not completely destroyed. The wiring harness is fine.

I really don't want to spend $400 for a new assembly or $700+ for custom side mirrors. I'm hoping that someone has some of these parts to sell, or the OEM pieces for a decent price so that I can get it operational and looking normal.

I broke mine when i was backing into my garage, its a terrible feeling. I bough mine on ebay. Here are a few, not the same color but pretty reasonable. Just spend a few bucks to get painted.

...you've totally made my day! I also broke mine backing into my garage, which is a really tight space and it was bound to happen. Did you come up with a solution to prevent against it happening again? I'm stumped.

I bought the white one. If anyone can do an A+ paint job on this item for a reasonable price, please let me know. Thanks again, pyro.

glad to help another camaro5 member out! and I havent found a way to prevent breaking the mirror again. I just slowly back in and look at the spot i left when i broke my mirror.
