Thanks. So is a Stage II ok for a stock engine with a Cold Air Intake only?

Should be fine...

For me though I am waiting to do this when I do headers in a few years (warranty is nice to have and I don't want to live in the car or the couch - wife unit).

Supporting mods make a huge difference. Engine is an airpump. More in plus more out = fun!

CAI, TB, Headers, HF Cats, Catback (possibly) and you will really have a nice flowing car. Then if you tune it, you should get nice gains. But the tune may void the warranty, so I am trying to wait for a while to do all this to mine.

So far I've done a CAI and a Stainless Works Retro Chambered cat back. Im in the same boat with my 2013, not wanting to void warranty right away. With my L99 Im very sure I want to do a LS3 conversion, headers, HFC's, but I didn't know if I could slap a stage II for now and future considerations.

I think you would be fine. I am just trying to avoid leaning it out too much until I can do a tune. The more air, without fuel adjustments could lean it our some. But for the $$ is a great deal. Probably worth an estimated 10RW. I know I ported a MAF sensor on my 4th gen when I had it and got 10RW. Did it with a dremel at home. Awesome cheap mod. TB though is a whole other animal. Definately want a pro doing that. It can really jack up how a car idles if done wrong.

Don't sweat it ,these pigs are too rich from the factory . You will not hurt anything running with out a tune on just headers CAI and ported TB . A good tune will however boost your power about another 20 hp .

I might just get one and save it for that rainy day.

The difference between Bo's and Vmax is clearly explained in the included thread. Bottom line, Bo's is definitely the one you want. I'll add a pic to show you the difference between all of them. Top is stock, left Bo, and right Vmax. Note the shaft mod on Bo's TB. That's the $$ right there.

Bo knows TB's

This is going to fall smack against the face of the popular way of thinking here, but for me, sometimes when you have a full bolt-on, well tuned car, and a larger TB, the throttle response can get annoying at times, but I'm talking certain applications of course.

I can't comment on this one, as I have not installed yet, but was just sayin'.

what's wrong with the throttle response? It's faster isn't it?

On some cars, particularly those with individual TB's, it just gets to the point that anytime you sneeze, shrug, reposition your ass, hell even your foot, the car jerks, the pedal just gets too sensitive to any kind of movement.
