Bye bye ZL1...sad to see it go

Just sold my ZL1 to a local dealer. I'm sad to see it go. Honestly, I love the way the car runs stock as I drove it stock for two days. It is so much more compliant than the Z/28. No regrets...time to hit the track in the Z/28!!!

Wow! A ZL1 -> Z28 transition within the same generation car. I'll be very interested to hear the PROs/CONs once you've had a few miles on the Z28.

Congratulations -- no doubt the Z28 is going to be a fun car!

Should we get a betting pool up to see if he comes back to the ZL1?

I really enjoyed the ZL1 for the best all around everyday, road course, and drag strip car. But, I know what I have, and I will not go back to a ZL1. Honestly, if you never go to a road course there is no reason to own a Z/28.

From what I can tell from this forum is that Stephen has always been about the tract/s.
He has the right car for that if it has to be a Bowtie and not a Corvette.

Hey Stephen hope to continue seeing your posts over here from time time even though your a troller now....lol. I learned pretty quickly that most of your comments were good advise. I hear you have a Hellcat in the works to run the 1/4 mile alongside your Z/28 to run the curves.... Very nice combo. Keep us posted on how things are going.

Congrats on the ZL1 sale. I know you hated to see it go because its such a great car. I felt the same way when I traded my ZL1. But, I gotta tell ya, I don't miss it. I absolutely love my Z/28.
