Thanks NABeastRR for the advice. Have done the plug wire removal. Did you have the extra length in your transmission wiring to move it up and out of the way.

I would also like to report that the tube clears with a Huron Speed twin turbo setup as well. The tube is far away from any hot side parts, the design is excellent, hugging the bell housing and trans like a glove. This is a must have part! Thanks Ted!

It is like many things when working on cars there will always be obstacles but all in all it is an easy install, and once in place you will enjoy years of service.

Never check your trans cold always hot.

Once it is set hot you can look at it cold and make a reference mark if you really think you need it.

Hey Ted, Chevy SS guy lurking here since I am also doing an LSA blower conversion. I just wanted to confirm that on the Chevy SS, what do you determine as Hot? Oddly enough the normal Check temp is like 82F to 102F but I am thinking I get som heat in her and check it per more normal trans checking procedures at operating temp...thoughts?

Got mine earlier this week!

Dave

We recommend following the GM checking Procedure, our Dipstick tube kits are calibrated with the correct fluid level which is approx 1 quart more than the checking tube in the pan sets it to.

So its recommended to add 1 quart of fluid above where the GM check would have you do it (ie fill to running out of the check tube, install bolt and then add another quart)? I haven't installed the dipstick since I have a rack at home.
