I have ARH Shorty Headers and am wanting to know if I can get catless down pipes? I have a 2014 1LE

Thanks

Lets think about this for a second. Do your stock downpipes fit? If they do, and JBA's and the like are meant to attach just like the stock ones, what do you think?

Yes.

JBA is a simple and inexpensive way to go, just beware of getting a CEL unless you're tuning. Solo HF mids are a bit more expensive and you'd only sacrifice maybe a couple or few HP and you'd likely not get a CEL. JBA HF mids are a toss up even with a decent pair of o2 extenders.

Just a thought from a guy that's been down this road with all sorts of shorty header combinations and different mid pipes..

If you remove your cats, you will throw a CEL and require a tune.

Shorty headers aren't much cheaper than longtubes, which also require a tune as they'll throw a CEL.

Longtubes will provide way more horsepower than shorties.

Why would you buy shorties?

The only reason to do shorties is if you'll pair them with Solo high flow cats to keep your CEL off, which is emissions legal, requires no tune and keeps your warranty. Removing cats and getting a tune will void your powertrain warranty on your brand new car.

The jba shorties with solo hi flow cats are fine...emissions and warranty friendly..do not require a tune ..and add a good punch to your car.
