Hello all,

Just purchased a 14 ZL1 this weekend, it has 1900 miles, 6sp, all stock. Was looking at a new Challenger SRT, but saw this one use, and took it for a drive, was very impressed, plus the price was a big factor. My last "toy" was a Ram SRT-10 with 500hp Viper motor in it, 6sp. Let it go about 2 years ago, so looking forward to getting back into something with some speed.

Seems like a lot of great information here, and trying to soak it all in. if there is any words of advice for a new owner, please share. Here is a pic from when I bought it, will post more once I get it home.

Also, if anyone is around central Iowa and knows of cools stuff to do, please let me know.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
Welcome to the ZL1 family, you'll love your car! The first thing I would do is get XPel clear Bar put on all the danger areas to prevent those nasty rock chips. Go over to Willis Cadillac and talk to Scott in the accessories section, tell him Bill with the red ZL1 sent you over. Stop by Nick's at the end on the month on Army Post Rd on Friday nights, everyone gets together or Karl's Performance for coffee and donuts this Saturday morning 7-noon. See you then and we can talk mods!

Bill

Thanks Bill,

I saw that Karl had something going on the 9th, so I had planned to attend, I am up in Ames, so a short drive for me. I bought the car from Karl Chevy in Ankeny, and saw that they had a performance shop, so thought I might do some simple mods this summer; CAI and fatback exhaust possible. First will see what others have had luck with. Looking forward to the get together this weekend, hope the weather is better than this weekend, can't believe all this wind

Nope, triple black. A blue one would have been nice, but black is not bad either.
