Yes, it's one of the best products in the "wax" category you can buy for paint protection.

Although it has some carnauba in it, it's not really a wax though, it's more of a sealant. Lasts 4-6 months based upon conditions your car is exposed to.

Nick @ Autogeek did a fantastic write up on it.

Yes I use it. Put it on my DD Silverado before winter and it was still working in the spring. I live in a harsh winter climate where there is a lot of snow and salt on the roads and it works like Joe said. It lasts even longer on my Camaro as that does not get driven during the winter or even much in the rain anymore.

Any issues with using it on top of Blackfire Crystal Seal?

it's good stuff, always have a bottle or two around. great quick detail wax that will last several months. and yes it is more of a sealant to be truthful. have 476 and 915 also and they are all great! the 915 I plan to put on this week end sometime. it lasts several months as well. Collinite rocks!

So it would be best to use my regular wax and then put this on as a sealer?

I believe sealer would go on first. But I'm no expert

It's great but use it very sparingly! A little goes a looong way with 845 insulator wax.

I think I will wax my car with 845 tonight lol

845 is a decent wax for the money. You can get up to 4-6 months as Joe said, but, that is dependent on driving conditions and where your car is parked during the day.

Sealant > Wax, not the other way around.

The shine is also excellent too. I won't ever use anything else. If you garage your car like I do 845 may last til next year. Also it won't turn white if you get it on black rubber.

I had no idea what this stuff was until about 10 months ago. Local detailer applied it with an orbital buffer (didn't wait long enough to swipe it off, but that's a different story).

Long story short -- the stuff works. Like, really, really works. After ~10 months it is still beading up as well as a fresh coat of any Meguiar's product, and the original application did a great job hiding shallow scratches.
