I would doubt that if you get the Camaro you will ever wish you got the Porsche, but I will be willing to bet money that if you get the Porsche that you will be wishing you got the Camaro instead.

I wouldnt get the Vette, and I am 57.

The Camaro dude. I got mine this evening and just had to go sit in mine for 10 more minutes before I went to sleep - as sad as that sounds.

I'm a huge Corvette fan, but you should go with the brand new Camaro. The car is awesome.

You clearly have a thing for 2-seaters, but I'm going to advise that you get the Camaro. For the price difference between a Camaro and anything else, you will get more attention and appreciation for your ride. With 3 flashy cars on the table, you have to look at what they each say about you. The Boxster says that you value luxury. The Corvette says that you're at the flagship level and won't go any higher. The Camaro screams refined performance. There's nothing tame about the Corvette or the Camaro, but the Corvette is the best you can get. If you can afford the best you can get, then get one new, or get a a higher trim used.

I've been in this struggle, too, although the other cars in it weren't the same. I landed on Camaro. Unless this particular list contains your dream car, and that car is not the Camaro, then you will find yourself happier with a Camaro. Either way, you may never know side-by-side which car will make you happiest, but I would hate to see you buy German when you could buy a cooler American car that annihilates competitors at the track.

Any other model, and Id say Porsche, but my dad owned a 2002 boxter until last year, and was utterly disappointed. It just isnt that great of a car. Performance is POOR. (dont get me wrong, itl get more attention from most ladies)

But id go with the camaro.

Between those 3 --> Camaro hands down...
If you could find a 2008 vette then the decision becomes a bit more difficult.

My friend ahd a boxter(poor mans Porsche) it sucked and was $$$$ on repairs.Ive always loved vettes, they are a race car for the streets. Everything about them is performance, but it should be 08 or newer. As much as I love the vette ... the new Camaro just gives me that WOW factor . Thats what you want in ac car.... one that you just want to drive and have everyone give you the thumbs up and stare,, That same feeling when you were a kid and got that new bicycle and all the kids thought you were the luckiest kid in town... so get that bike.. I mean Camaro and enjoy the ride..

One of my friends had a Corvette back in the 80's. I had my Iroc Z. I'll admit the Corvette was the nicer of the two cars. However, most of the times we were going out on a Saturday night we chose the Camaro. When you had seating for four there was always the opportunity to pick up a couple of girls when you were out cruising the town, or if you wanted to go on a double date. Obvioiusly the back seat isn't made for any long distance traveling, but it's nice to have the choice.

I love Corvettes but would not buy an 05 because I prefer the LS3. The Porsche does nothing for me. I can pretty much buy anything I want but will be getting the 2SS/RS because it is a great value, has all of the modern toys like bluetooth that I like and I can get one loaded for about the cost of an average car. Also you get lots of warranty which gives some piece of mind.
