I hope everything checked out okay Rick.
Good evening crew. I was able to get off even a bit earlier than our usual early closing time on Fridays. It was a good thing too because Ruby has nor been washed since I went on tha tlast cruise & it spit a little rain that day. She was not filthy but definately not clean enough for even a small car show. So I had 2 house in a very chilly garage to give her a whore bath. (cleaned the glass, cleaned her up with waterless wash/detailer, & wiped wown her wheels & tail pipes). I am lovin' that it is Friday night! Wooooooooo Hooooooooooooo. Let's hear it for the weekend!

I have not washed the Camaro for weeks now. Been too cold and wet. This weekend I will do round 3 of leaf clearing and I will start getting the Camaro ready for its winter nap. Gotta get the oil changed and give it a good wash even though it will be cloudy and in the 40s. It will only come out of the garage after that if it's sunny and dry. Once I get my trailer in storage in the next week or so and the garage cleaned up I will give it a final rinseless ONR wash the hook up the battery tender and cover it till spring.

Good morning. I'm up early to get ready for a little car show. Right now it is right at freezing outside but supposed to warm up to around 63..........not too bad. I'm not expecting to win anything I just want to get out there & do something with Ruby. Mike will take his camaro too & a couple of other Camaro club members may show up too. Have a good Saturday everyone.

Sigh...... one step forward, 3 steps back.
Just when I feel like I'm getting ahead, things go south. Just got the SUV repaired - it was way less expensive than snow tires for Ladybug - and had a few extra bucks left, so I decided to start re-furnishing my house (during the summer, putting money into Ladybug was more important than furniture ). Got a great deal on some new bedroom furniture on Wednesday, but even at the great price, it still left me pinching pennies until next pay day. Then, Friday morning, my garage door broke. It's bent, and won't close unless I push on the bent part while I'm closing it. And don't even think about using the garage door opener! I watched that thing sway and bend the brackets, and thought for sure it was going to drop right on Ladybug!! YIKES! So, now I'm digging deep to find a way to afford replacement. It's a 12 year old door, I know for sure my homeowner's insurance won't cover it. Hopefully, I don't have to replace BOTH doors (the double one is broke, the single one is fine, but if I can't get a double to match.... ugh) Never fails - every time I have a few extra dollars, and get something I want or need, something else pops up right AFTER I spend the money.... The silver lining is that my furniture is getting delivered today!! Yay!

Sorry to hear the bad news. I think it's an unwritten "Murphy's Law".
Just when you think your getting ahead, something happens. Quote:

Sorry LBM. I know how that goes; sounds like my luck. Hope you are able to work it out with minimal additional stress.
My day did not start out too well either. I got up, got myself ready to go to the car show, started Ruby up & the DIC showed a warning that my right front tire only had 19 lbs air in it. I backed it out of the garage & Mike inspected the tire & could not see anything in it. So he was going to put air in it & let me try to drive it to the tire shop across from where the car show was (about 5 mi). When he started filling it with air he could tell what the problem was, a leaking valve stem. He rigged up for me to be able to make the drive without losing too much air (hopefully) and it worked. After they got it fixed it was a pretty good day but the weather man was wrong about it not being windy. It was chilly & windy. I was pretty cold, but it was otherwise a pretty day & a decent turnout for a small local car show. It was over early & we were close to home so that was good too. Here are a couple of pics & a link to the rest: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=327387

Sorry to hear of your garage door issues LBM. Thanks for posting the pics Jan. looks like a great gathering.
Had breakfast at our favorite dive that will be closing soon. Shortly after, we headed over to the Pavilions. Great turn out! Lot's of "new" cars there. I did not take any photos but a buddy did. If interested, I will supply a link. Tomorrow is the last day our favorite dive will be opened. guess we're not cooking Sunday.

Good morning crew. I slept like a rock! It is supposed to be a nice day with a chilly start but getting up into the high 60's. I'd better enjoy it as it is supposed to tune darn cold this week with flurries even. Brrrrrrrrrr. I want my fall back! It is not time for winter yet. Have a good Sunday folks.

I slept like a rock too all that yard cleanup wore me out. I got a lot done though this weekend I will have to do one or two more leaf cleanups but about 3/4 of them are down. The Camaro is ready for storage if needed but I am still going to drive it on dry sunny days till the snow starts to fall.

Crappy weather here in north central Pa so the Camaro stays in the garage.

My wife and I just got back from a nice 200 mile cruise. I'll be putting my Camaro in an indoor show in Chicago at the end of the month and had to burn up some fuel.
They wouldn't allow the car to enter unless it has a 1/4 tank or less. The weather was decent so, I figured it would be a good time for a road trip. Time to put it up on jack stands do a brake upgrade and a thorough cleaning. Enjoy the rest of the weekend guys!

Good evening. We worked around the house, tending to the Camaros, cleaning up the Cruze to get it ready to turn in & did the grocery shopping. Then I cooked my lunches for the week & packaged them. Friday evening we will be down to 4 vehicles & that is where we will stay for hte forseeable future. I wish I knew someone who needed a good little daily driver. We took good care of the Cruze but It is time for it to go.
I can't believe it is almost time to start another work week. I hope more clients show up this week. When a lot no show it makes for a boring day & screws up my productivity making it hard to make my bonus. Ruby needs her headers!
