Well, I learned one thing about non-OEM bulbs...

...when I replaced a burnt signal light on the back with an aftermarket LED light. While it does function the way it's supposed to now, it is still sending the fast-blink signal to the info-center between the speedo and the tach.

Dammit.

May need some sort of external resistor to increase resistance since LED's will have less resistance than HID, making the car think there's a blown bulb.

Might be able to add a resistor in parallel. Works on some vehicles.

So does the LED blink fast? Or normal but the dead bulb indicator just blinks fast?

Both the LEDs and the dead bulb indicator blink fast.

No, just going to gut it up and buy OEM bulbs.

This.

You will either have to splice in a resistor, don't remember exactly ohm is needed, or buy quality brand that has the resistor built into the light already.

Here is a link. I would shop around though. You might also find bulbs with them built in.

Thanks. It looks like I'll wind up going this route since I can buy these through where I work for less than $4 a pair.

And thanks to the others who made this suggestion!
