Almost giving them the 'LS Steely' look.

I don't know if I like them. That's the problem. They made me say, hmmm. Maybe....but after speaking with hubby, he said no, he couldn't do it. So now we are back to looking at highly polished or chrome wheels AGAIN! lol.

That is exactly what hubby was afraid of. He thought they wouldn't look as good w/o ground effects and side stripes and since we aren't ever getting those things, it's a no. Oh well, I tried. The search will continue!

I just don't understand why people like black rims...you can't really see the spokes that well and they do little to enhance the appearance of the car IMO.

As for those wheels, they're FUGLY. The mesh style does not match the bold heavy styling of the Camaro at all. Mesh wheels are for girls....JMO

Add mesh to black and you get

You asked for honest!

I personally think they look badass. But if they are the average 3 piece pricing , I'd pass them up and go for something else . Who makes these wheels. I know they are the hennessy wheels but do they actually manufacture them?

I dig them. Just about any forged wheel can be ordered with black centers and a polished (or chrome) lip.
No, you are not confusing me with someone else. Still dislike mesh wheels, but these gave me pause (just for a second...lol)

I agree about black wheels in general and I really appreciate your honesty regarding them. I've stated as much in a couple of threads AND on my wheel journal here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96768. White, CGM and Black are the only colors, in my opinion, that can pull off dark wheels.

If you look on my journal, I have pics of 50+ IOM with different wheel combos. You have to scroll down a ways to get to them. A couple may actually be Victory Red. But it will give you an idea just what IOM people are doing wheel wise with their cars. 99% of them I do not care for.

I don't like black myself. I'm into Chrome. I want the Foose chrome wheels.
