anybody impressed with the SS fuel economy?

anybody glad with the fuel economy of their SS? i know if you buy the SS fuel economy isnt really important but i am impressed on the MPG's of this 426HP V8. our normal city driving is between 16-18 mpg. on the highway anywhere from 24-28 mpg. that is of course when driving it the speed limit with less than 2k rpm shifts. my 07 honda pilot gets like 12-14 no matter what and thats a 230 hp v6

Heck yes! 20mpg mixed. My 180hp Bonneville gets 23, and my 240hp truck gets 5.

As the SS is my second vehicle, I could care less. If I could order an xtra 100 horsepower I would have. With the V8 and the car what it is, the fuel does not concern me.

Mods in the future?

I personally am getting around 20 MPG which is good considering around town I can't keep my foot outta the gas.

never been a concern, but 21 mpg, 23 with no wind and cruise in 6th gear on flat land, is nothing to brag about. I was sort of expecting 25mpg on a good day from the ls3.

Impressed, no. I am getting about what I thought I would with this size engine. I am suspect/amazed about others who say they are getting high 20's, I'm lucky if I clear 17mpg.
