Keep the tips close to the mesh and you'll be fine. Don't cut them off too short, or the bezel could get too hot.

This is what they are talking about if your tips are too far back. The dealership put my exhaust tips back a tad far and had to replace my diffuser.

Mine is metal though, all around the exhaust tips. So that's a good thing, no melting plastic!

My tips are about 3 inches inside the GFX bezel and have been for almost 3 years. I have not had any problems at all, and I'm using the factory tips. A little metal polish every couple of months and my bezels still look like new.

You're doing a great job with the car Sara! I know everyone has their own preference on how the exhaust should look. My tips stick out past my bezels......and I like it like that........and that's what's important
