dealer cant flash vin into dic
so while having my car in to dealer i had them flash a color dic from a zl1 in my 1ss. they could not do it as an error would come up during the process. they claim they have hours into it but i'm guessing they tried a couple times and gave up.
first, should there be any issues with flashing this dic to my vin? if so, what would some of the causes be? second, are there any steps that need to be done to the zl1 dic to say remove old info before it can be flashed to my vin? |

did you install it then drive it? I believe I read on here if you drive it more than 5 miles unprogrammed for your vin it locks.

All flashes and updates are VIN based. If your VIN isn't in the data base for a particular update, it isn't gonna happen.
