Hate the wheels. Too busy for any car, style a poor match for this car, don't like washing cars and those wheels won't be easily cleaned. Love the 1LE wheels, unqualified two thumbs up.

Lol! A Wheel Woolie wouldn't do shit with those wheels, unless its one of those itty bitty ones, and then it wouldn't clean the barrels, CarPro IronX and a Pressure Washer would do the trick.

This so much. Way too busy, the style doesn't match an aggressive ZL1 look. The 1LE rims have sharp, knife like angles, aggressive lines and its fits better than the elegance look the ZL1 rims have.

I have ordered these. They are pricey and the exposed CF is not for everyone but I went with these to tie in the exposed CF heat extractor and I like the simplicity of the design. I saw a guy with these on his HyperBlue Z06 and they were amazing looking. If anyone is good at Photoshop around here and wants to take a stab @ putting these on a HB ZL1....I would be much obliged.

I hope Chevrolet is listening and offers better/more wheel options on future ZL1s

Yeah, it's hard to climb on a soapbox with something so subjective but making a few options available pretty much shuts out the lights in the complaint department. Sometimes I think there are a fairly large number of forum folk that would make better executives than the guys GM has making the choices. Its like stupid gets you a promotion instead of the unceremonious firing that should have occurred after someone said "lets put these totally inappropriate wheels on a because we think it will change public perception of what this car is and should look like". They should be selling what the public wants. People buy what they want, what the don't want, not so much.
There is an old sales thing, I've heard it quoted but I don't remember it exact. It says something along the lines of "Sell people what they want and it sells itself". The Camaro is not selling as well as expected and I think this is partially because they are trying to sell what they want to sell instead of what people want. |

nice zl1 in the wild, i haven't seen many videos like this. I am assuming it's a piloted car due to the dirt and grime. And because they just started production yesterday on the 17 zl1

I think it may be possible the ZL1 will get the 1LE wheels standard at some point and the spoke wheels optional. Then owners will have a choice. I would love to have the new ZL1. The current price point is just too high for me. The new SS is just about perfect in my book except for the visibility issue. But the ZL1 felt really special and a step above the SS in many ways. And it was a very bad*ass car. The SS feels more like the 335I I had before moving back to Camaros. Hopefully the the new ZL1 can get some of that old magic back. I will wait a few years and maybe score one when I can buy one for around $50K. It may not take long given the lousy resale of the CA6 Camaros. In most peoples minds the Hellcat and probably the new GT500 will be superior just by HP levels alone. We know better don't we?

And by the way, if the freaking replicas were forged instead of lameass cast, I would order 8 today. TODAY. What a travesty to have the capability to forge replicas but you cheese out on a 650HP car and cast them. Wake up.
