2016 leftover Black 1SS for $33,500 or 2017 Hyper blue 1SS for $36,900. Whats the better buy? Both have the same options. I havent seen the blue yet in person. The black definitely looks sinister. How are the paint on these cars durability wise? Cause black can get swirls and scratches pretty quick especially thin paint. Any difference in the 16 vs 17? More recalls in 2016?

No differences from what i know of. The recalls that have occurred will already be fixed on the 16 and the 17 so no worried theres.

Which colour do you prefer would be the only issue?

My red hot 2SS had tons of swirls in the paint when i picked her up, a really nice wax job and its been 3 weeks of amazing paint since. The paint on the cameras is good, like most cars how you maintain it will determine its quality.

Yeah i like both colors for different reasons. I love the black because its dark and sinister. I love the Hyper blue because its a very nice high performance type color and it pops in the sun. Tough decision. . I like the price of the black one better tho.

If you are not totally in love with either color I'd say save the money and go with the black.

I am biased to the Hyper Blue because it is an amazing color. You have to see it in person, it looks even better than in pics, which is surprising since it also looks great in pics too.

I went with a '17 because I couldn't find a '16 with the options I wanted in the blue. Also I wanted the 50th anniversary model year, more for historical significance. Honestly if the blue didn't exist I would have gone with the Mosaic Black Metallic.

The blue is amazing in person. Especially in the sun. That said, if you like black save the $3400. Depending on your options you may be able to save even more. 20% off sale is pretty incredible.

black cars are dificult to keep clean look nice but hard to keep them clean, i have a hyper blue 1ss and the color its awesome its almost like having camaleon color when the sun is direct it looks metalic blue and in the shade parts looks between purple and blue, just one thing for having a hyper blue , dealer is already charging $330 for that color, but if you want to save money go for the 16 black

Difference will be the money in your pocket lol. The 2017 gets the fifty badge on the steering wheel but tbh I like the SS badge more that comes with the 2016 SS.

You can find leftover 2SS cars around $35-37k. Get one of those instead.

I found a 16 2SS in silver for $36,900. But it has 130 miles on it. Plus i dont know if i dig the silver... But thats the only 2SS i found in my price range.

I have not seen the blue in person yet but it does look amazing in pictures. I like the Black too. With the difference of $3,400 im starting to lean towards the black. With the equity i have in my Scat Pack my payments would be A lot less.

When you see the blue in person you may change your mind. It looks amazing. Don't just take a glance, look at it closely and compare it to other Camaro colors.
