MRT V 2 install price

Just got a quote for installing new MRT exhaust. I was quoted 200 dollars. Is this a reasonable price, or too much?

If it's an axle back it seems high for something you could do yourself with 1 hour of time, a hacksaw and a socket set.

200 is too much for me...you could either find a better quote or get a hacksaw and a socket set for less than that (and do it yourself if you want

$200 is to much for anyone! Even if they were welding it up for you! No way would I pay that.

Like many said previously, Get a hacksaw or sawzaw and do it yourself. It is literally an hour of labor on jackstands.

Definitely too much.. We usually charge one hour labor for exhaust installations.

Best regards,

That is way too much in my book also. If you have any mechanical ability do it yourself if not find a different place. I did mine with a hacksaw but would really suggest a Sawzall. With a hacksaw it took me about an hour to do it.

Dean.

WAY TOO MUCH!!
Wanted to do it myself...just didn't have the equipment to weld Stainless.
I paid $90 which included installing the MRT's, a Magnaflow X-pipe, and all the welding.
(It was like watching an artist at work!) He was great!

I'm going back to him to install my LT's.
