This is too funny. I was just telling my buddy this evening about the same thing. Time to hit the gym and get the left arm stronger. I'd like to open the doors vertically from sitting position. Kind of why I got them.

opening the doors at a sitting position is fine, but I just thought it would be a little bit easier. Guess my left arm will be a lot stronger.

I have had mine for 10 years, they have never opened on their own. its a tough lift from inside the vehicle. Now one of my shocks is gone bad, the VDI replacement is very expensive. looking for one with a little more lift to offset the door. Good luck, its a great mod kit except for the shock.
