Side view mirror delete

I recently watched a cuda build on Discovery channel or one of those networks and the guys removed the side view mirror and installed the kindigit flush mount door handles. I know our cars have very poor visibility but, has anyone seen a 5th gen with these mods? I would love to see pics...

My memory tells me that it is the law that all automobiles have to have outside mirrors at least on the driver's side. I think due to the visibility of the Camaro it is necessary. I could be wrong and will admit I did not look it up.
Now the flush door handles would be cool.

You don't replace the mirrors with door handles. They probably removed the stock handles and replaced them with flush mounts from Kindigit . If you remove the mirrors they would need to be replaced with another type of mirror or a rear facing camera with monitors inside the car . It's law that you have to have one side view mirror as mentioned.

As others have said, even WI requires exterior mirror that will allow minimum of 200' of rear vision. This is for car coming along side of you, passing etc.

Not that you would consider such a deletion, I can't begin to imagine anyone removing their mirrors. Remove the mirrors, remove the operators license.

Blind spots for sure but, just looking for a pic of mirror delete and handle delete... Pushing the limits is what modding is all about. You feel me?

I have built many cars over the last 50 years and I assure you have pushed the limits when involving mods, such as 96 Impala automatic to T56, 54 Chevy 3100 truck, Corvette suspension, tilt wheel, power door lock, cruise control, air condition, big block engine and much more.

With that said I don't think many would consider removing mirrors from a vehicle that is known for blind spots as a wise choice. Besides against the law the individual would be putting not only their self in harms way but everyone else on the road.

Blind door handles is a different story, cool mod.

If I were still on the road and stopped a vehicle for not having mirrors and I could clearly see the vehicle's panels had been reworked to cover all traces of mirrors ever being on the vehicle, a citation would be written and the vehicle could be removed from the road for being a major safety hazard. Besides, majority of states have vehicle inspection laws, if the vehicle was inspected this way that facility would looses their inspection license.

When doing modifications we try to make changes that actually improves our vehicle and something the auto maker should have considered. Some of the modifications that individuals do actually catch the eyes of the auto makers. Removing outside mirrors is a "modification" (for lack of better terms) that might catch the eye of LEO, God knows those tickets are EXPENSIVE.

My 68 SS didn't have one, I added it because it was too weird driving without having that mirror.

Driving these cars feels like navigating a slightly submerged submarine, you need a periscope! lol

It also feels like constantly wearing a hoody with hood_on, I love it!

You need those mirrors dude.
