Unable to find power steering hose - HELP!

Hello,

Currently sprung a hell of a leak on the power steering lines and I’m unable to find one dry rotted hose leaving me in the dust here. Does anyone have access to a part# 92249335 or equivalent. Thank you!

Few Options.

You might find a local hose shop that can make you a serviceable replacement, but probably won't be the exact same.

Since this is the low pressure side, you might be able to cut the metal lines and find a compression style coupling to swap it to AN/fittings. Several of us have done that on the transmission cooler lines.

Although it shows discontinued, a dealer might be able to find it as NOS on someone's shelf.

If it's the low pressure side you can cut the metal line and put a slight flair on it ,clean the rough edges ,and use some rubber fuel hose . Slip the hose over the flaired end and hose clamp. I've done this many times and never had a problem. Don't flair it like normal flair ,maby half that ,it's just added security that it doesn't come off !

Ps. You could even use steel braided fuel hose for added security!

A great option, but I always use transmission cooler hose. Better compatibility with p/s fluid.

Reached out to them via phone / email.
They don’t seem to be too interested.
