Same here - except when I switched to the pre-refresh red taillights, I did keep the smoked third-brake-light so it would be less obtrusive in the middle of my de-badged trunk lid.

Do you prefer replicas or different designs -
Pros - Brighter. Sequential.
Cons - Should of got the RGB version lol.
Do you like it or not - Yes

Install video for 2019+:

These look good on your ZL1 and I really like the 3rd brake light you have with them. The light patterns on the 3rd brake light is very unique. If your 3rd brake light doesn't have RGB then I think the non-RGB Umbra lights were a perfect match.

I see a lot of praise for Smoked versions of the OEM GM lights, and I can see why. They are very sleek, and the grey lens matches really well with any set up. Have y'all seen the ALPHAREX Pro Series tail lights for 2016-2018 Camaros? They are like a redesign of the OEM 16-18 light.

I have the ZLE tails on my 2017 and stock on the 2023, no plans to change them. If it was reasonable I'd swap the 2023 to 2017 lights. But it's not reasonable.

No, I agree with you.
I’m not a fan of aftermarket tail lights.

Looking at those pictures I fear you'll get what you pay for...

GM really screwed with you guys by messing up the rear bumper design (as well) in 2019, the taillight swap was very easy to do on my 2018, the bumper need not be touched.

2017 SS with the GM, DOT approved OEM dark brake lights (including the third light from the ZL1). Also upgraded (IMO) to LED bulbs. I'm satisfied with that look.

The C8 style is somewhat similar to stock, but I personally don't like their weird stacked triple light body setup, it was definitely made for the Corvette's body lines.

(Aftermarket headlights are much more appealing from a design and functionality perspective, for example, the Morimoto LEDs with their 2+2 lamp configuration could easily be adapted slightly and offered by GM as an option, they are an almost natural fit.)
I bought a spare set of OEM lights too. They are getting harder and harder to find.

Auto Addict Velux- super bright, love the sequential function, and they compliment the red hot/black back end of the 1LE nicely
