Did YOU get the JD Power survey and......

... did you fill it out and answer truthfully?

I got it and I did fill it out and answered completely truthfully. Yes my car had some issues, but none were deal breakers. It has room for you to describe the issues and so I did. In the end I rated the car 8 out of 10, It really is a great car and while there were some issues I can't really complain too much as the dealer has serviced them well and the issues are nothing severe (all like trim related and stuff severe to me would be drivetrain/braking system related).

Just as I am prepared to mail it out today I realize my rear speakers are definitely cooked (and no I don't blast my stock system), but whatever the dealer has to install the scuff pads this month on the new side rocker they installed so I'll have them get me a set of speakers too...

In the end I remained fully truthful, its my car not my best friend, and I think the guys in Oshawa and Detroit did a gerat job on her, and any responses I give can only help to make future Camaros even better.

How did you respond?

I filled out mine and mailed it this morning. I have not had any issues or complaints with the car so far so, I rated it highly. I still think this car is well put together and well designed. As luck would have it, after I mailed out the survey, my trunk release decided to go on the fritz, not opening with either the key fob or interior switch. Our '07 Corvette started suffering the same malady just a few weeks ago and like the Camaro, it is intermittent. Both cars will go in to the dealer to have it looked at. One thing I will say in this instance is that at least the Corvette provides you with a way to enter the trunk if the system fails. There is a key and lock up under where the rear license plate sits. This should have been added to the Camaro as well. As it now stands, I can't get into the trunk unless I flip down the rear seat....pretty inconvenient.

I received one also. I was honest about my thoughts. "A"Pillar problem and overhead console problem. Both of which were fixed early on by the dealer.

Otherwise, I have much praise for this car.

Accelerationa nd performance beyond my expectations. Comfort and ride quality are outstanding, as far as I am concerned.

Bought a cup of coffee with the "Buck" enclosed!

I got both JD Powers surveys - the second one had the George Washington token gift for filling out the survey.

As I've had no major or minor issues I gave it "Truly Exceptional" with No issues - my Camaro has exceeded my expectations for the model and for Chevrolet.

Yes, I filled mine out and listed the minor issues...most of them low on the scale of importance, nothing deal breaking like you said.

I recieved mine on a Friday and mailed it today. I only had one issue. On the passenger side, the side panel kept popping out. I got it fixed of course so I ended up grading the camaro 9 out of 10. Honestly, I never give out 10's cause no one or nothing is ever perfect
