I dropped mine too after retiring. The DMV guy said the same thing. I told him I was done hauling gas for good !!!

I love how this switched from a discussion of how fast the DPS got you at to screw the CDLs and fines...LMAO! Btw, I use to work for Johnson County. I'm suprised it was a state trooper there. Were you on 67? or 174? I can see a trooper running on 67 but 174 is usually all city (Cleburne, Joshua, and Burleson). Anyhow, we have to love you pulling the CDL card on that play. LOL

On a side note, since getting back to Texas last December I've been pulled over 4 times and only got 1 ticket for speeding even though I was 80+ every time in a 60 (I-20). The one time that I got the ticket was when I was in my wife's truck in street clothes and not my uniform. Never asked to get out of a ticket any of the 4 times and paid the deferred adjudication/probation 90 days for the one I got for a whoopin' $239.00...gotta support our local LEOs. HAHA And I still will not slow down...maybe a little till the end of November.
