I'm sick of all the rain !!!

Moved all the cars across the street this morning so the yard guy can cut the grass. It started to rain before I had a chance to move them back. It's been storming every day for the past three weeks, I'm so over it.

yeah...we're so draught strickened, the farmers and ranchers may never recover. Everyday since July, we've had burn bans/red flag fire alert days.
Then some dumba$$ will be driving down the highway and throw a cigarette out the window!
Our firemen are exhausted, but they are doing a heck of a good job!

If I could, I'd cry you a damn river.

And we need one too. :(

It's unfortunate that we are unable to shift the weather cells about. Here in So. California we really need rain. It's been over 40° Celsius (HOT) for most of the week.

We've had so much rain here I've forgotten what the sun looks like! Half the time it's flip a coin if a road is closed from flooding or trees down. Even so, it's far better than how things are going for you folks down there. :(

In addition to families that have lost homes from the fires, my heart goes out to the ranchers and farmers. I can't imagine investing in a crop or feed for livestock, then watching a field basically turn to dust. I truly hope y'all get a break from the excessive heat and lack of rain soon. I'd gladly send what we're getting down to you if I could!

Thank you!! We would happily accept any rain you could send, for sure!

Over the last couple of years, we've seemingly had the "extreme of the extremes" weather wise. From a 24 inch white out Christmas Eve blizzard last year, to our 58 days [or more...I quit counting, it was so disgusting] of record heat of 100 degrees and over, these weather patterns have really been out of the ordinary for us. Throw in the crazy tornadoes that ARE typical for OOOklahoma! and it definitely keeps our weather guys busy!
Thank goodness we've got good forecasters and storm chasers.

I know things are difficult and dry down south but be careful what you wish for.
I didn't ask for massive amounts of rain, just perhaps a week or so of a nice, slow, soak_into_the_ground, HOLD THE FLOODS type of rain!
I know...beggars, can't be choosers. And likewise, here in the heartland, we feel for our neighbors in the NE expierencing these floods.
