IOM media car spotted at my dealer in Montreal?
I was driving by my dealer this afternoon, when from the corner of my eye I saw an orange Camaro. I was like WTF ? they're supposed to first get a yellow SS, and then my SIM SS !! Who's IOM Camaro is this? Luckily, my dealer was open, and my salesman was there. He told me that they delivered the car for the media to test ( media car? ), and that it was there for storage.
It was locked up behind a fence, and I couldn't get close to it. My salesman told me to come back on Monday when that part of the lot can be accessed. I'm sure it's a CTF car, but I hope somehow I can get to take it for a spin !? Anyhow, here's a few pics.... Last edited by camarorick; 11-28-2010 at 02:37 PM. |

So, I got access to the car. I was allowed to fire it up, but not drive:(
It sounds nice, but just maybe a little too tame for me. Here are a few closeups ( damn birds left their mark ), one thing I noticed is that this car had a regular VIN #9103464 ( again, this is supposed to be a media car ? ). Last edited by camarorick; 11-28-2010 at 02:37 PM. |

Make up a fake business card for a local media outlet and tell them your GM contact sent you there to pick it up lol.

The VIN shows it was built as a special events demo.
The build shows it is supposed to have black stripes!!! Better tell your dealer to put them on!!!

Great pics, however i like the Midnight SIlver wheels better then the Polished, especially if its supposed to have the black stripes, but then again it would look great with polished wheels too.
