Also the 5th gen had a movie series to help it along, also a ton of fleet sales to car rental companies.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's a failure...
I keep in mind this is just everyone's opinion....including yours. And I'm far from the only one saying it ..including your fellow Americans. So lets not pretend its not discussed and Im the only one thinking or saying it.

A 2016 2SS that sold for about $41k can now be had for $28 - $29K with low mileage and plenty of warranty left.

Much more reasonable cost of entry. JMHO

My anecdotal observance is that almost all other Camaro's I see on the road around here (which are few and far between) are 6th gens. I've yet to see another 1LE of any year around here at all.

I don't see what there is to give up on. If I were in a situation to upgrade, honestly I'd probably just move to the Corvette family, as the only upgrades I'd consider (ZL1 or ZL1/1LE) are right in that same price range.

I can certainly appreciate the weight reduction and better interior of the 6th, but I actually vastly prefer the LS3 motor, and I like the looks of my car very much, with the exception of those silly rear faux gills. And the 2019 refresh is just an abomination.

The best thing about the Gen 6 Camaro is how much better the performance is then the Gen 5 ,there has been generations where performance went the wrong way, that didn't happen and Camaro fans should be thrilled no matter if you like it or not .I have seen some very dark days over these many years i been a Camaro fan. When the 7th Gen comes around more then likely it will just be available with a turbo or two and 4 or 6 cylinders with power and performance numbers that would knock your eyes out , the ZL1 may get the V8 with a turbo or two .

Yep, guilty on that account. The ATS-V does have a hot twin turbo v6 at 464 hp.

I was thinking the same thing, there maybe a pick up in 2018 sales due to the not better looking 2019 refresh. It may be a slow 2019 model year for Camaro sales.

How do you know sales are increasing? GM has not posted any sales figures since the 2019 was unveiled.
