Trifecta Tune For Nitrous? Other Options?
Looking for a tune for 2012 V6 Camaro that will pull timing for Nitrous. I see many users are running a Trifecta Nitrous tune. I'm wondering where you purchased your Trifecta tunes from.
I don't want to "mess" with tuning myself - so I am guessing that HP Tuners is not really an option. Also looking for other options. Would like to be able to only pull timing when i'm planning on using the Nitrous. IPF told me they could make a tune for me that pulled timing. Wondering if anyone is running an IPF tune with Nitrous. Any suggestions - contact info on a tuner etc would be greatly appreciated.

That's kinda the issue. This is my daily driver. I will not be going over a 100 shot. Only thing i'm really looking to do is retard the timing when spraying.. Else i would like the timing to be normal when not spraying.

The way they tune it, the timing is pulled whether u use the Nitrous or not. When not using it u will notice its down on power. Some have experimented on ways around that, u will need to see whomever tunes your car knows how to tune it to only pull timing when the system is armed

I use Trifecta tunes for mine. I got it straight from Vince about 4 years ago. His tunes seem to be leaning more towards the safe side of things and not trying to squeeze every drop of power out of the car. I had the NA tune before I got my nitrous kit. So I just had them make a second tune (cost me an additional $100) for the nitrous. Usually I use the NA tune for daily and throw in the nitrous tune when I go to the track. After the last time I went to the track I left the nitrous tune in and really don't mind it daily driving. It is a little down on power due to the timing being pulled, but not bad. I am sure there is more to get out of the car if I had it tuned through HP or IPF on a dyno, but for an easy to use tune I have been happy with it.

If I stick with a 75 shot, is it really necessary to pull timing? I know its recommended, but is it really necessary?

A/F Wideband arrived today Fedex - Yipeeee - Gonna install it over the weekend.
So much for my $700 Nitrous kit that has cost me about $1200 so far - LOL

wish thats all i spent...i started with Trifecta tune then switched to HP, started with Nytrex and switched to Nitrous Outlet, had a window switch and now a mini progressive controller...gets costly buying everything twice

^^^ You forgot the ZL1 fuel pump Than I added a stand alone fuel cell with pump & regulator. |
