Don't worry. In a few moments he really was.
Apparently the sound of the open cut-outs behind the longtubes and HF cats put him off the confrontation.

So the honor of the Camaros was vindicated

One day we were traveling north in my Mercedes 280S at 120 MPH when we were passed by the Swedish Corvette club. It must have been a half mile of Corvettes that went zooming past us. We met up with them at a gasthaus up the road and had a great visit with a few rounds of pils.

My coworker had shipped a 76 Trans Am to Germany when he moved there. Every time we drove somewhere in it, he got thumb-ups and horn honks.

Fun stuff!

You are right.
People also looked at us like a holy picture.
As there are very, very few American cars here, it is always quite an experience to see a american car. Especially if it is a limited edition or a nicely modified car.

It must have been great to drive a home car on the other side of the globe. Just a piece of home in a foreign country

Otherwise, of course, whenever I run into unruly Mustangs, I scatter them like skittles and then they follow me in a nice manner

Any of you fellow V8 guys get eco boost mustangs that try run you stop light to stop light? I’ve had a few. I like toying with them making them think it’s close out the gate then blowing their doors off as soon as they get hopeful. I’m cruel I know but it brings me great satisfaction. I don’t normally try to run other people but when they pull up next to me sounding like ass revving it up… I just can’t help my self. It’s like a grown ass man kicking a teenagers ass lol.

I haven't had the pleasure of running up on a single ANYTHING Mustang of any trim level. I have raced other Camaros(new and old) and plenty of Mopars(RT's and scatpacks). Still waiting for that elusive Hellcat... I haven't had the chance to put my car up against any Mustangs although we have a few modded ones in my small town. Since Supercharging my car haven't lost a race yet...*** Knock on wood*** The jet noise the Torqsotrm makes definitely entices some to race because they just wanna see how fast it is (including guys in base model Civics), and makes alot of others not even want to line up. I've had plenty of guys just look at me, smile and shake their heads. If I don't end up selling my car anytime soon, I might start taking it to some track days to re-ignite the spark.
