If red is played out for brake calipers, someone had better tell the Vette folks.....

Heaven only knowns
Perhaps the extra awesomeness of red brembos would cause casual onlookers to spontanesouly burst into flames and their surviving relatives would sue GM ;-)

For me Brembos should be red - but maybe they are worried that they would clash with some color schemes - hence neutral color

I know, I know, do what makes ME happy but I don't know if it would look good. I thought it might look kinda cool on the black, with the orange engine cover, the orange leather and with the calipers orange. Nice distribution of the orange and that's it. Orange in the back with blacked out tails I decided against.
Maybe jsut paint the lettering orange, nice accent?

Pimping ain't ez. (hard to please the crowd).

With the powdercoating any color possible and it's durable to heat stress.

like others have said to make a brak caliper that goes with everyhting. They arent hard to paint if your a DIY. In my opinion I dont care unless they were pink or yellow something gay like that.

So that the calipers match the brake dust on the wheels...

Because here in the real world someone has to pick a color knowing that not everyone will like it. They are what they are. I personally would like to see someone offer powdercoating of the calipers in a different color that would also do the graphics. I know a couple of places do the Corvettes so I suspect this service will be available

That's kinda' what I was thinking - really. Road grime and brake dust would stand out a lot less. I think accenting the brakes to match other accents of the car is pretty cool. Just a random red caliper doesn't do it too much for me, but I can appreciate some coordiation with another element on the car.

How about blue like ZR1?...

i wish they offer the brembos as an option for the V6, but it would be pricey. I still wished they used drilled or slotted rotors.

Since I ordered a CGM car, metallic charcoal will be GREAT! Subtle is COOL!
