I hate the gold bow tie, if I could black out the gold part without messing with the illuminated part I would consider getting it, looks nice on the Mercs.

I'm guessing it will be backlit like some of the aftermarket ones for vettes, so you should be able to black it out! That's what I'm envisioning. If it's actually fully lit, I think it might look weird.

Jersey has the front license plate law as well, sucks, but I have not run a front plate since 2005, been pulled over only twice since then and never got a ticket.

Same with Texas and the front plates. Never ran them. Just moved to Tennessee, but I'm running out my Texas registration until it expires because I don't want to get rid of my plates

Exactly, it's a secondary offense now in Ohio (you can't be pulled over specifically for it).
