This is getting ridiculous

Its been almost a month and a half now since I got my camaro and there have been more instances than i can count on my fingers of people pulling up beside me trying to get me to race them. I mean just today alone 2 people tried to race me . One person pulled up beside me at a red light reving his engine and blowing his horn to try to get my attention and i just ignored him and he sped off and the funny thing was a cop saw him right after he did it too. I had one person in a run down honda civic literally tailgating me less than 1 foot behind my car trying to get me to speed ahead so they could race me. If i would of even lightly pressed the break he would of rear ended me. This is happening on an almost daily basis now.. and im getting tired of it lol

worse thing is I live in a small town too and for this to happen as the title says is just ridiculous.


I drove a 02 ford explorer through high school and college and i never got this type of aggression on the road this is getting ridiculous.

I put 6.2 badges on the side like the ones on benz amg, suddenly noody wants to race.
I just told a friend about it last night...... the effect is the opposite than i thought

I had a couple of drunk guys in a newer Ford truck (lifted) pull up to me in a parking lot. They were trash talking, trying to get me to race. My favorite part was him trying burnout with knobby tires. I'm pretty sure his TC was on, because he could not get them to spin at all.

But yes, I've noticed this also. There's been approx. 4 occasions where morons rev their engine at me, or haul ass as soon as they see me, and I live in a town of only 2,000 people. I've owned my car for almost 8 months now.

I wish i would have If i would of waited until this month or maybe dec I would of had enough saved to have gotten one but i was impatient and all through college all I ever wanted was a camaro so I had to have one right then and right now. Im planning on having this one payed off in 2 or 3 years so i can trade it in when 6th gen comes out then i will have my v8. Im happy with this one at the moment its my first car and the sudden aggression on the road is something i am not use too lol.

Brake check them. Have them hit you. Then get a carbon fiber rear diffuser

Swear to god I am fed up with these idiots. I made a post recently with a vid of a kid being a jackass trying to get me to race. If someone did that to me though you would be seeing a new carbon fiber diffuser on my SS .
