Vibration

Recently replaced driveshaft with an aftermarket piece, very well known on this site.

After replacing it I noticed a vibration at 2100 - 2400 rpms. The car is LS3 - SC with all the goodies, 750hp to the ground stock bottom end.

I am also eating SC belts frequently and thought the two might be related.

I took the car to a very good rear end/driveshaft shop and they told me the DS is fine. They gave this opinion because when you push in the clutch at 100 MPH the car is smooth without vibration. They said it might be the clutch, but it is definitely not the DS.

When we did all this work we did not replace the vibration dampener. Is the stock VD good or should it be replaced. I think the new one piece DS revealed another problem that was hidden by the stock DS.

Suggestions?

Have you talked to the manufacturer? They could probably offer you some feedback on what you may have going on.

From the DS shop you spoke with, it looks like the flywheel might need balancing if at a certain speed you push in the clutch and take the RPM away but still driving and the vibration goes away.
