Ummm. Well 1 of 3 things has to be going on here.
1. Its a factory freak 2. Its not stock 3. GM changed something in the l99. Im not going to straight up say I dont believe you bro, but I find it hard to believe that you are out 60'ing (is that a word?) cars with CAI/LT's and a tune. Especailly when most of the bone stockers are all with in a few tenths of each other on the fast list. |

I was there the night that Pave one broke into the 12's 2 weeks ago. Don't insult him. His car is bone stock. He is a very knowledgable drag racer. He helped me with my launch technique and gave me some useful pointers that helped me go from 13.8s to 13.38 @ 105.65 I am going back to NED tomorrow night and take my shot at getting my A6 L99 into the twelves bone stock.

Im not trying to insult him. Its just strange that his car is so much faster than everyone elses. Has he ever had it dyno'ed? It being that much faster makes me think that maybe gm had a mid-year production change, like a new tune or cam?

He has the launch and techniques down pat. As I said, he helped me with my runs at NED. My A6 is in the same ballpark in speed. He is just really good at launching his. I know that he did the fuse pull. I did this also and my car changed dramatically. I have used nothing but Sunoco Ultra 93 in it since. I have trouble leaving a red light without chirping the tires. It was doggy before that and I am grateful to this site for posting that information.

Guys.......these cars are hormonal as women. Cold air outside and a 000 DA and everyone of these cars would run this.
