I sat it in for the first time at the dealership, and had little to no trouble with driving it. I sat in it, started it, and just took off. I didn't think it was that tough to drive, it was actually really smooth and easy IMO. The clutch grabs in a completely different place then my Acura did, but its something you get used to.

I also don't have any problems. Personally I don't see any difference between the '10 and my 4th gen while driving. Reverse however, now that is a different story.

Hard car to drive?
When you get used to it, no. The side effects of the ladies wanting a ride outweighs the inconvenience. I had a 2002 WS6, 98 T/A and a 96 WS6. The 10 Camaro is better than those. You just have to get used to driving it.

As for changing lanes, tell him it's because he didn't position his mirrors correctly. If you do this you will never have to look over your shoulder to change lanes no matter what you drive. |

Nah, it's not hard to drive. ALL vehicle types are a little different at first, but you'll quickly get used to it and be a pro in no time. The first time I drove a Camaro, I just hopped in and within a couple minutes it was like I'd been driving it forever.
LOL, I will admit I DID keep trying to stomp the clutch pedal through the floorboard, but I actually like a light clutch. (Now that I think about it, that's another reason I miss my Firebird. DANG, why did I ever get rid of it?) |

Compared to my previous manual transmission car (a 99 Ford Escort sedan), the Camaro is fun just to sit in. I havent test drove it (no license :( NC State laws suck) but I'm basically 5'5" and I could reach everything and push the pedals in without any problems.

Not a problem for me. I've posted before that after you've driven it often enough you get the hang of the visiblity. I'm at 6500 miles and I love driving this car. If fact, each time I put it in the garage, with in minutes, I want to back it out and put on a few more miles.
