Haha nah i don't need any special oops i mean preferential treatment I'm helping keep the drag racing groups organized for the fun of it and to help keep it clean. We made some major headway in it this year and addressed some lingering frustrations. Can't blame me for trying though lol. I think getting on for a parade lap would be sweet. Maybe make us pay for a shirt or spectator pass to get on if that helps the situation and make it clear your there on time with proper paperwork or your out? Nobody likes the people who hold-up the lines because they couldn't find their keys.

I know there are groups from that direction going but no organized threads yet. Hopefully something gets started or during your trip you can sync your time to meet others on the road.

I'm trailering from Slightly North of Orlando, so far the plan is to leave Tuesday (waste some time in Tennessee) or Wednesday.

Okay, this is a serious question for you folks. I have never needed to provide a helmet for a track day. With this said, I do not own one :( Can anyone suggest some websites or places where I may purchase one? What is a price range I may expect to see?

This is the one I have. Amazon Prime Eligible as well. I have used this at CF7 and New England Dragway with no issues.

Make sure you get a helmet good for many years. They have expiration dates.

I wanted an open face, and they are a bit harder to find with the Snell SA2015 certification. I got this one from Summit Racing:

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/zsc-h75003fxl

Since I'm tall (and have a big head) it is a bit larger than the older helmet I was wearing, the helmet does touch the headliner. It's just something to get used to.

You should be able to find a good one for about $120-$150. Look at a few different websites for sizes that will fit, all manufactures will give measurements. Because a Medium is not the same size across all manufactures. Look for one that is Snell 2017 (2015 minimum). And no, a motorcycle helmet is not the same. Summit Racing, Jegs, Bell Racing, and even eBay are great places to look around.

Texas, like Indianapolis here, probably has a few local shops that you could try some on and see what is comfortable.
