Single Stage vs Two Stage Air Compressor

I have been looking for a new air compressor for the shop and this video gave me a little insight as to the differences between the single stage and two stage. Now to try to find an affordable two stage.....

Home Depot has some pretty good prices depending on what your looking for.

If it's personal use you don't really need a very big compressor, unless you plan on painting.

Volume is more important than pressure.

Good luck

Take a look at Harbor Freight as well. If you have one in your area.

I got a 60 Gal 2 Stage about 10 Years ago from Sears (when Sears was worth a crap). It was on Clearance as it was 220 and returned because the buyer wanted 110. I watched it go down in Price for 6 weeks before I got it for $300 with a Warranty. . One of the Best Deals I ever got!
