Transformers 5 Set Visit Pics - Bumblebee Camaro

The 'Transformers: The Last Knight' director Michael Bay just released this image on his Twitter feed, showing off Bumblebee in his new updated robot form.

Bumblebee will also be getting his own spin-off movie in about 2 years.

Wanted to share here, I've been a member for years as I have a 2010 Transformers Edition 5th Gen myself (SEPA5 Represent!)

Earlier this week I was able to visit the set of Transformers 5 on behalf of a website I run (TFW2005.com). Part of that visit included a session with some of the vehicles, including Bumblebee. I snapped some shots up close and they're up now:

Camaro5/6 admins - if you feel this is newsworthy take what you like, just give a link back to TFW please.

Thoughts on Bee - in initial pics online I thought he was a bit overdone, but in person it's pretty bad ass. The front fascia and front lip are boss, and the airflow ports on the side are awesome in person. Still not digging the back spoiler tho. But who am I kidding, I'd grab this in 2 seconds.

I would take the hood the front fenders and that bumper. Maybe the fin if it was a bit more flat. The front is way busy imho but certinally not worth the hate it got on the forum when pics first came out. I bet in white and black or all black it would look waaaaaay better

Dunno. Was hollow, and had what looked to be a small camera on end, tho I think it was just for show. Maybe in future world you use monitors inside in place of your mirrors?

While people will criticize I think its important to remember one of the primary design criteria is that it needs to represent giant shape-shifting sentient robot from another planet....and a camaro. Likely not many people who are criticizing to do better than what those designers have come up with.

I don;t understand why everyone is down on the transformer 5 camaro. It's supposed to be way out there and it is. If you look at the styling cues they are very close to the Lambo Hurrican.

Personally I would be really glad to have a camaro like that. I see Lime green Lambo's running around and they are 270k....
