LOL, nothing like starting a shit storm the day before I go out of town to a different race track. I'm sure they'll accommodate us. I wanted to talk to them beforehand so we wouldn't run into something like this if we just show up. With some time for them to plan, all will hopefully be OK. Even so, there is still the Pumpkin Festival pain the ass traffic in Watkins Glen to deal with on the way through town to the track. Remember that fiasco from last year? Thankfully I'll likely be the lucky bastard who has to fight that to get tickets while the rest of you take a leisurely detour

Me and Jackie will come to the show and track on Oct 8th. We may get a hotel for Fri night though as that is an early trip out from the Buffalo area. We will definitely be at the show and track though. I will frim up my travel plans this weekend as Jackie has been in the Binghamton area all week working at special needs shelters for the flood victims down there and is coming home late tomorrow night.

Their event is scheduled to end at 5:30 so we are scheduled to be on track by 6:00. We can still go when we planned and watch them race from the grandstand after we stage if we want. No luck on ticket pre-order. We will have to collect at the show and someone will have to go through town to purchase them at the store. The cost will be $15/car so bring cash to the Windmill if you plan to go on the track. If you don't bring cash, prepare to fight the Pumpkin Festival traffic in town to purchase one at the track store. They're open til 6:00.
