Our other cars have sunroofs (one is normal sized, the other is a larger panoramic style), we never use them so we picked a Camaro without it. I like the mohawk look because it's a different look for us, but to each it's own. If they made a hard-top convertible, I'd probably go that way.

One thing I like with a sunroof is looking up and watching the garage door move as it opens. I can easily see when it is all the way up. A small thing, but nice anyway.

Never liked the sunroof option, had several in suvs trucks and our 14 2SS, I do enjoy real open car driving so the convertible was a must have on our 18.

my first car had a sunroof and I almost NEVER used it, thats why both of my Camaro's since then I didn't order one with. Just wasn't worth the money.

Love the sunroof but the one thing I hate is how it doesn't have the 'tilt' mode available. I much prefer using that on the highway instead.

Not sure what you mean. I believe that mine will tilt up the back end first, before sliding back. Did you mean something else?

He probably means a tilt button like my tiburon has. If you press that button, only the back will lift. Then you can press on the slide button and it will move forward. The slide button will do both but the tilt will o lt lift the back and stop it there.

Um, yes, it has a tilt button. I have verified this

It just doesn't do auto close. It has the detent for it in the rocker switch (like other Chevy cars) but it won't auto close.

Really? The service engineer guy who walked me through everything said it's not something on this car. To be honest I never noticed that to start with. I'm going to test this today thank you I'm guessing he had the expectation (like I did) where there's two different buttons for it.

Huh. Well, mine is a 2016 2SS. I am not sure what yours is. I suppose that could have been changed in later years. Still, costs you nothing to try it.

I look forward to hearing whether it worked or not.
