2010 Went dead, check engine light on - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Last week I was driving my 2010, car has 4500 miles, all power was lost. I pulled over and car restarted. However check engine light stayed on. i made appt with dealer. Today started car up and check engine light was off. I still took car in and dealer said it needed new fuel pressure regulator. Ive had this car 6 months and it needs new parts. Anyone else with same issues

Close to 18000 miles and a year has passed and no issues

sometimes things break, sucks to have a part fail so early in your Camaro's life, but good thing for the warantee!

i'm hoping this WON'T be a concern going forward!..it's been a long,long time
since ANYTHING the "general" makes has graced my driveway!..love mine,but i gotta be straight with everyone,up until this baby came on the scene,i would not even consider buying the general's crap!..i want to 'croak" with this CAR still in my drive way!..wish me luck!,,i hope it 'holds" up!..wish me luck! i "suspect" i'm gonna need it!

My fuel pump on mine went out with 4,300 miles on the odometer...same scenario as you pretty much...driving down the freeway heading back from my trip to Vegas and at around 70 MPH with cruise control set the car hesitated for a second which woke me up a bit from my "highway hypnosis" style driving and then RPM's shot up to about 4.5k and then the car shut off. Coasted off to the side of the road with CEL showing and tried starting with no avail. Hit Onstar to connect me to roadside assistance and got a tow truck driver out however after about an hour of waiting tried ignition again and car started right up but with CEL still on. Killed the ignition and took it to dealer. CEL showed the car was throwing a code for "Low Fuel Pressure" and was showing 0 PSI so they replaced the fuel pump and no problems since then. Tough situation but didn't let it ruin the car for me and I suggest you do the same. I still love my ride more and more everyday...

1 year and 7000 miles later and only problem was a blown rear shock that was probably the fault of shop that installed lowering springs.

32K miles....Purchased May 2009 - Been in the shop for passenger side speaker blown 3x and 3x for check engine light....
