+1 Billion!!!!! It's ridiculous to think that a new driver will be getting behind the wheel of a 300+ or 400+ horsepower car. #1 they are very inexperienced drivers, and #2 that is a lot of power for a kid! If some grew up driving powerful vehicles owned by their parents then ignore point #2, but point #1 still stands strong! Must be nice getting a brand new $20K or $30K vehicle for your first car too.

A little more levity...... see what happens when you let the dealer leave their badge on your car?

No kidding. Not sure I'd want to buy my new car from a dealer with a name of "Graves". Kind of implies bad things are coming your way.

I would sue the crap out of the parents for Damages physical and emotional. Lets face it this guy is probably already paying interest on a loan and the insurance company is going to low ball the cars price like usual. Plus the deductible you looking at his being out thousands of dollars and having to wait months for another car. His insurance company isn't going to give him months of rental car hes lucky if they don't settle in 3 days. So thats even more money right there. What ever the insurance company offers don't take it unless you/he believes its fair.

Hes probably lucky enough that the parents are dead beats and don't own or have anything so they have a philosophy why give a F*ck or S*it about anyone else's property or life.

Heck I would not doubt if the kid(s) had done it deliberately starving for attention.

As per the kid not having Insurance, it will go with the Collision coverage of that person's Camaro coverage, and then the Company will sue the kid and/or parents/guardian of that kid for the damages.

Folks who don't get Full Coverage on their Camaro's are nuts. Even if it is expensive you need to, and even if you paid cash for it with no lien you should still take it out. The above picture is a perfect example.
I'm 16 and getting a 2010 Cmaro SS

Im so sorry about your car. But like a good friend kept telling me when my new boat was damaged in a freak storm, "at least no one was hurt and the boat (car) can be fix (replaced)". GM should be praised for what appears to be excellent safty engineering, the door isnt even out of alignment even though the rear end was ripped off.
