FS: Set Forgestar CF5 18 x 11 w/NT01 Tires

For Sale Camaro track day tires & wheels
4x Forgestar CF5 wheels for late model Camaro fitment
2x 18x11 with + 23 for front
2x 18x 11 with + 43 for rear
Nitto NT-01 315x30x18 Still have tread but one has flat spot
Wheels look almost new. Minor inside rash on 1 rear wheel, see picture.
Son in law had these on his 2013 SS 1LE that he sold about a year ago - He gave them to me to use on my C5Z or to sell to get wheels we could use for tracking it. These CF5's just stick out too much on a C5 Vette for me to use. I have ordered F14's with proper back space for the Z and I use 200 or higher treadwear for my events, so tires won't work for me either.

These wheels are plenty nice enough to be on a daily driver with different tires. I think they also have the pressure sensors in them.

$ 1,000.00 cash takes everything

Checked with son in law. These wheels do not have pressure sensors in them.

Pretty nice track wheels. 18" a bit small, I would worry about clearing brakes. Obviously it worked with the SS/1LE brakes on your son's car but would they clear zl1 brakes or other big brake kits? I've got the zl1 brake upgrade.

Are you willing to ship?

Will verify tomorrow but pretty sure son in law had big brakes on the 1LE. They also fit the C6Z brakes on my C5Z. I can get price for shipping and you can decide if deal is worth it.

Wheels fit over the C7 Z06 big brakes son in law had on the 1LE for tracking. Said he purchased 18" Forgestars for performance reasons to include lower center of gravity.

Checked shipping to California from my 28037 area for another interested buyer and it would be about $360 for packaging and shipping with about $20 of that for insurance. Probably some better deal out there that I just don't know about.

Awesome, thank you for confirming that. I think the z06 brakes are similar to the ZL1/CTS-V brakes, aside from that I think the pistons have holes/vents to improve heat management that much more.

Shipping isn't too bad really, maybe a little cheaper to Austin TX. I imagine the incoming weather might slow things down!

Other questions I had in mind - do you know the age of these wheels (mfg date)? I ask because I believe Forgestar had some QA issues in their early wheels that resulted in casting flaws. Were they painted/coated after the fact or like that from Forgestar? (also could affect wheel integrity). Finally, can you see any micro cracks anywhere in the spokes of the wheels?

I know I'm being annoying with my 20 questions Used track wheels are always a gamble but if they are in good shape I'm willing to take the risk.

Weather not bad here near Charlotte yet. Hope it doesn't get too bad for anyone.

Don't mind the 20 questions at all. I want anyone that buys them be happy with the purchase.

Text son in law to find out when he purchased wheels-he responded he thinks 2015 or 2016. I will call Forgestar tomorrow to verify. They can track all mfg data from the engraved order/sn on wheel hub face. I looked wheels over real good and don't see any casting flaws...? Nor any micro cracks anywhere.

Wheels were painted by Forgestar and I cant see anything that would make me think they have ever been touched up.

Did notice when looking them over that both rear wheels have the inside rash on them. Not sure how I missed before.

Let me know if you have more questions.

I don't expect it to be a problem but I will take them to my tire guy and check them out then report findings.

Spoke with long time tire and wheel expert today. He is not concerned with the ability to balance these wheels. I did not pay to have them balanced as I have had some potential buyers wanting me to ship wheels only.

Did you/he grind down the notch on the steering knuckle to get these to work on the 5th gen?

Still have these. Have had interest from parties too far away that are asking me to absorb more than $300 dollars shipping. I cannot do that. Hope someone closer to Charlotte NC needs them. I will drive a couple hours to help deliver but will not give up $300 plus to ship them to you.
