power steering
so last week after school i went to one my friend's house and it was wet out and i decided to show out a little. I did a couple of donuts and my power steering went out. I knew it was messed up right after because it made some wierd noises wen i was turning back into the driveway. I took it to my dealer and they checked it out and ordered a new power steering pump, its all good... WARRANTY

I have heard about this before with other camaros. Is there something wrong with the pump that is supplied factory (given there not designed to do donuts) but other cars do this all they time with no problem.

Might be too much stress on the power steering pump at one time.

I think turning the steering wheel all the way in one direction and leaving it puts way too much stress on the pump. Next time don't lock the wheel out.

I guess you aren't one of the guys who drives this way with the intention of cracking it up....Glad you didn't join that club. I don't know why so many people plan on cracking up their cars while showing off doing stupid stuff, but there must be a good reason. OR....maybe no one ever plans on cracking up a sports car but the people who drive like fools succeed at doing so far more often than those that don't.
