Auto when my knees are hurting.
Stick when I am showing off my car.
Auto when drag racing.
Manual when parked next to an auto.
Auto when stuck in metro traffic.
MANual when I feel the need to be a Manly Man.
Auto when my wife drives me home from the bar.

Advice to those who struggle picking one over the other - take the auto, unless of course, the manual is a more convenient choice.

Manual unless you want to be bored. * Better for road racing too.

auto is better cause my wife can drive it and it smoked every manual so far. I haven't raced anyone yet that knows how to drive a manual properly but they all claim to be experts.

I guess if you just HAVE to go auto then whatever.

For the rest of us Jedi Knight Stick Grabbers who spent so many years mastering the Stick Force it's something we need to wear on our chests. Like a 'S' for Superman, but only it's green and it stands for Stick. I tell everyone I meet how good I am at driving. Because it's a stick shift. And it's hard as hell to do.
