Beehive unless you are going to play near redline often.

You may as well go BTR duals like everyone else. You are sure to want more power in time and this way you will be all set.

Cool

Flip a coin on this one. I think with your lift, you are approaching dual territory anyhow. But, a quality set I'd beehive is easier (imo) on valvetrain. I have recently been in your position (bit smaller cam though) and was almost swayed to the dual side....but I'm sticking to the good success I have had with a "quality" set of beehives.
Good luck.

The cam you chose sounds like a great choice for fun on the street but not max performance with max hp drawbacks.
I tried to look it up by specs and didn't find it because it looked like what I'd want but did find some info related to our discussion

And this well known company with good reputation also puts this type of cam at either a quality beehive or dual springs, up to you.

The only caveat is if the lobe profile really jerks the valvetrain around "aggressive" or it is smooth as cammotion chose with this sort of lift duration family of cams. If it's jerky to gain that extra 4hp then duals are a must.

Edit: PAC springs are a good choice for Beehives just be careful where you order them from. Like fake GM ACDELCO spark plugs that melt, there are fake PAC springs around so don't order from sketchy websites like amazon or ebay unless it is a trusted company using that platform.
Here you see a more reliable seller and see if a website sponsor sells them IDK those offhand

PSI 1511ML springs would be my recommendation, as long as your staying with LS3 hollow stems.

Thanks guys for all the feedback. Much appreciated! Decided to go with dual springs kit after talking with CamMotion. They said I could go with Beehives but duals are more durable and with their kit you get all new seals/retainers/locks as well for only a little more $

Smart move. Don't forget trunions.

We have mine apart to swap the springs out and my builder wasn't sure which trunions were in there, turns out they are Smith Brothers. Look pretty good... And yea like banana says, you might as well do them now since you have it all apart, save from doing it later when the stockers fail on ya.
