I live in Chicago so it’s very snowy today But I did have a bit of fun taking off the car cover and putting the new plates on her. Now I just need to put a slash on the plate to finish it.

What car cover is that? I like it, how much was it. I just need something to keep the dust off.

eBay has plenty OEM covers ... it’s indoor only though but it helps.

I think the issue here lies upon utility. You can purchase an outdoor cover (without camaro in it) that holds up against weather for half of an oem cover. There’s no reason to waste money if you don’t want to, and everyone has a right to spend (or not) as they choose.

Nice plate btw, slash will look cool

I didn't really pay 30k, I pay $507/mo.

Since I live in an apartment I keep it in a storage unit, so no one would see the cover. If I had a house with a cool garage I might just have to spend the money. I just have too much on the to buy list right now. That's almost the price of the MGW shifter that I keep thinking about buying, not to mention the rear cradle bushings or Zo6 brakes, new tires(G2's suck in WI).
