I hate to say it but these "I'm young and own a Camaro" threads really drive me crazy. It seems like a new one pops up every week and they're all the same.

I'm 21, use to drive a Cobalt but some lady T-Boned me and she totaled my car. I used the money I got payed for my car as a down payment ($8500), and now I am paying off the rest and all other expenses.
If it wasn't because of the accident I wouldn't be the owner of a Camaro (didn't have enough $). So I guess I kinda consider the accident to be a good thing although I miss my cobalt and all the hard work I put into it. I also miss having a roof rack for my mountain bikes. :( Quote:

I'm 22, been working since 16 as an Electrician. Got my Trade Qualification in April and bought my Camaro in May with $16000 down payment and the rest on a line of credit through my house

I bought my cars with cash, on my own, living on my own - the Vette was an inheritance, but I've paid for everything that went into her. My first car that had a year start with 2 instead of 19 is my current car, my Mazda 3 (2010). I have to call BS on some of this too. The real question is... how many of you are under 21, LIVING ALONE and FULLY supporting yourself with NO help from anyone? To you guys that own Camaros, I give you props... and what the hell do you do for a living?
