Car just turned 10 last night

Yep, 10K miles old. Still great car to drive. Now when should I change that oil?

Just kidding, I do it every 2000 miles!

Why in the world would you change it every 2000 miles?

2000? Ummm 5000 is good enough, you're obsessing too much if you're changing it every 2000

Lol. I dont. Usually 10% or so with the DIC. I have seen so many posts where oil changes and the mileage that they are done creates huge discussions. I trust GM, and with 100K power train warranty, and oil changes within the DIC recommendations, they would have a hard time denying any fixes.

i think 2,000 was a joke, and when the DIC says 10% is accurate. and yeah, i agree, the DIC is pretty reliable.

Yes, 10K and one oil change so far, and about 50% left on the current oil.

Well, I hear those LT1 motors like frequent oil changes.

How much did the swap cost you?
